This beautiful heritage double-brick cottage situated in the Wagga Wagga CBD area was brought to us by Noel Thompson Architecture.
Our aim was to maintain the houses original form and construction, whilst providing much needed extensions to the living and bathroom areas.
The final residence, once constructed, will be fitted with a new bathroom and toilet, two large bedrooms, a new open-plan kitchen and lounge, and large study, whilst retaining the original purpose and style through the continuation of double brick construction and repair of existing fretwork.
Working from initial sketches and an on-site consultation with Noel and the owners of the house, we then proceeded to bring the project to full working documentation stage, with the project currently awaiting the relevant council approvals and construction.
The Gurwood Cottage was a great opportunity to help restore this heritage federation cottage to its former glory whilst adding practical and much-needed spacial additions.
